Our Work

The Heights has 4 EL teachers, 1 full-time Spanish-speaking bilingual Educational Assistant, and 1 part-time Hmong-speaking bilingual Educational Assistant.

The EL teachers collaborate with the classroom teachers at each grade level in order to assist all EL students in working toward their grade-level standards. It is an inclusive model which has the EL teachers working closely with the students' classroom teachers on a day-to-day basis.

We provide EL services for Kindergarten - 5th grade students. Our EL teachers and bilingual EAs work collaboratively with all teachers and staff as we strive together to meet the needs of both the students and their families.
