Welcome scientists!

Our science curriculum inspires curiosity and discovery in students. From kindergarten to fifth grade, they explore exciting topics, including the wonders of nature and the basics of scientific investigation.

Curriculum

Kindergarten

Students will be learning about the following subjects: Safety , Rituals, Routines, Weather, Plants and Animals, Physical Properties of Matter, and Living and Nonliving Parts in a System.

First Grade

The students will be learning about the following subjects: Safety, Rituals, Routines, Rocks and Soil of the Earth, Balance & Motion, Air & Weather and How we are Scientists and Engineers.

Second Grade

The students will be learning about the following subjects: Safety, Rituals, Routines, Animal and Plant Life Cycles, Habitats, Properties of Matter (Solid, Liquid, Gas) and how we are Scientists and Engineers.

Third Grade

The students will be learning about the following subjects: Safety, Rituals, Routines, Plants and Animals, Astronomy, Light and Sound Energy, Rocks, Minerals and How we are Scientists and Engineers.

Fourth Grade

The students will be learning about the following subjects: Safety, Rituals, Routines, Magnetism, Electricity, Heat, States of Matter with Water, Human Body Systems and How we are Scientists and Engineers.

Fifth Grade

The students will be learning about the following subjects: Safety, Rituals, Routines, Scientific Process, Ecosystems, Motion, Earth Resources and how we are Scientists and Engineers.     

The students will be participating in the 5th grade science MCA this year.
