Speech and Language
The Heights Community School currently has two Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP).
Speech/Language services are provided to students who qualify in four possible areas; Articulation, Language, Fluency (stuttering), and/or Voice. Services generally occur 2-3 times per week for 15-30 minutes sessions, and address the Speaking and Listening Standards of the Common Core Curriculum. The ultimate goal of speech/language is to increase student's ability to communicate clearly and progress academically at school.
