I am passionate about education and advocate for building confident, honest, responsible, and respectful citizens. I choose to invest in our future leaders and believe in using the best teaching practices to ensure that students are learning and engaged. I encourage students to use their minds and hearts to improve the quality of life for themselves and others.
When I was a year and a half old, I was adopted from South Korea. I grew up on a farm in South Dakota with 3 older brothers and 1 older sister. I am married with 2 beautiful stepchildren. I enjoy embroidery, traveling, nature, hiking, wakeboarding, and all sports. I have been able to travel to every continent except Antarctica. I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends over a good cup of joe.
